●26-MK-83 八角板皿
Manabu Kaji pursues a variety of expressions using clay and fire in the vast nature of Hokkaido.
This is an octagonal plate with an impressive straight outline.
By leaving slight distortions and a rough clay texture on the neat octagon, it is finished in a primitive yet modern appearance. The deep black with suppressed gloss and the shades of color that appear by firing are also attractive.
In addition to generously serving main dishes such as meat and fish, it is also recommended as a stand for arranging appetizers and sweets, or combining teacups and small vessels.
It is a piece that brings them together like a single scenery by placing dishes and vessels.
