A Nanban Yakishime flower vase, which can be said to be Mr. Kaji's signature.

The simple texture of the clay created by firing without applying glaze, and the rich scenery drawn by flames and ash in the kiln are attractive.

The generous form with a small mouth on a plump body naturally accepts wild flowers or a single branch. The shades of color, scorch marks, and ash expressions that differ from piece to piece are also a taste unique to Nanban Yakishime.

Of course, when displaying flowers, even if you decorate it as an object without putting anything in it, it brings a quiet presence to the space.
