This piece was born from Shimoo Design’s encounter with the timeless beauty of antique Gosokozoko bowls.

While preserving the traditional form, each piece is uniquely colored through the newly introduced technique of botanical dyeing, revealing a rich and expressive character.

With a wider, more spacious form than a traditional bowl, this piece is ideal for everyday dining — used as a small serving plate or a bowl for side dishes, and also as a plate for sweets during tea time. It beautifully enhances both food and confectionery in a variety of settings, bringing warmth and harmony to everyday living.
